Hanchey, age 84 years, 7 months, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.D. Flowers with whom she has made her home since coming to Jena to reside in 1939. Mrs. Hanchey has been a invalid for some time and her passing comes as a shock to her many friends as she was well as she had been for this period of time, and accute heart attack was the cause of her death. Mrs. Hanchey was the daughter of the late George and Rosa Anna Warner. Funeral services were held at Welcome Cemetery by Rev. Falcon Horne of Monroe. She leaves the following to mourn her passing, Mrs. Arah Bevill, Mrs. C.W. Wools, Mrs. A.D. Flowers, Mrs. Robt. Nugent, Mrs. Robt. Stewart daughters, Mrs. L.E. Crandler, Mrs. Irma Cook, Mrs. Jim Winning, Miss Glendyne Stewart, and Miss Roberta Stewart, and Miss Roberta Nugent and grand daughters, Mr. Crosby humphries, Mr. Beacher Nugent grandsons, besides a host of other relatives, and five grandchildren. Burial was under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
