Hailey is Buried at Old Saline On Sunday, Nov. 8 Local friends will regret to learn of the death of Dr. W. B. Hailey, age 50, whose untimely demise occured at Saline shortly after midnight Saturday, Nov. 18th. He had been in poor health for sometime, but his death came as a shock to all who knew him. Funeral services were held at the Magnolia Baptist church in Beinville parish on Sunday afternoon. Interment following in the Old Saline cemetery. The deceased is survived by his wife and one daughter, Miss Camile. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Florrie Walker and Mrs. J.N. Gray, of Jena. Dr. Hailey formerly resided in Jena and had many friends throughout LaSalle and Catahoula. ** Note** Typed as written, the headline did state Nov. 8 while the article listed that he had died on Nov. 18th.
