Hyde, Father Of Former Cashier Of Bank Here Dies Funeral services for Newton marion Hyde, 76, who died Thursday afternoon at his residence in Monroe, were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Winnfield at the First Methodist church. Ministers who officiated were Rev. E.O. Tucker, Rev. B.C. Land and Rev. Colvin Stokes. The funeral was attended by many friends from Monroe and Winnfield and the floral offering was large. One of Mr. Hyde's sons E.Q. Hyde, served as one of the first cashiers of the Bank of Jena. The family is well known throughout this section.
