The cause of Mr Hailey's death was attributed to pneumonia. Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery. Mr Hailey had been a resident of the Nebo section his entire life and was well known throughout the parish. He leaves the following children to mourn his passing: Mrs Wyatt LaCroix, White Sulphur Springs, Lewis Walter and Clarence Hailey, of Nebo. He also leaves nine grandchildren, five sisters, and two brothers, the latter being the following: Mrs Rosalie Kuhn, Rhinehart, Mrs Martha Jane Smith and Mrs Queen Masters, Jena; Mrs Julia Methvin, Carthage, Texas; Mrs Lizzie Parker, Trout; Same Hailey, Nebo, and Joseph Hailey, Jena. Rev M. Davidson, of Selma, officiated at the grave.
