Headline:  David L. Humble

Funeral services for David L. Humble, 70 years of age, well known farmer of 
Catahoula Parish who died of a heart attack at his residence in Manifest May 
21 about 1 a.m. were held at the Manifest Baptist Church May 22 at 10 a.m. 
with Rev. Thompson Doughty officiating.  Interment took place at the Huffman 
Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Upshaw Funeral home.

Deceased was a member of the Manifest Baptist Church and he is survived by:  
Hoover Humble of Jonesville, D. L. Humble, Jr. and Melvin L. Humble of 
Manifest, sons; Mrs. John P. Gillis of Starks and Miss Theda Humble of 
Manifest, daughters.
