Headline:  Rites for Tom Henderson Held in Haynesville

Private reburial services for Lt. Tom Henderson, Jr., who was once employed 
by H. R. Hayes Lumber Co., here in Jena, were held at the home of his 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Henderson, in Haynesville, La., February 15.  The 
Rev. Caroll D. Wood, of Monticello, Ark., officiated.  Interment took place 
in the Haynesville Old Town Cemetery.

Lt. Henderson entered the Army in Jena in 1942.  He was killed in action on 
New Georgia in the Pacific on July 27, 1943.
