J. P. Owens officiating. Interment was in the Nolley Memorial Cemetery at Jena. Mrs. Haynes had been ill about six weeks. She was born Eliza Catherine Culpepper on Feb 22, 1865, at Colquit, La. She was married to the late A. H. Haynes in 1880. They lived in Colquit, Weldon, Verda, Columbia, and Jena, La. The deceased was active in church work both as a Sunday School teacher and missionary worker. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Janie Stewart, Jena, and two sons, Frank, of Jena, and Milo J. Haynes, of Lisbon, La. Two brothers, ten grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren also survive. Grandsons who swerved as pallbearers were: M. J., Orville, Russell, Joe, and Don Haynes; Leville Glen, Edwin and Harold Stewart, and A. L. McDonald. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Kinner & Stevens Home for Funerals.
