Headline:  Area Deaths

LaVerne Haddox, 79, of Zenoria, died at 2:22 a.m., Friday, December 17, 1999, 
at Hardtner Medical Center in Urania.

She was a homemaker and a member of Georgetown Baptist Church.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, December 19, in the chapel of Hixson 
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Jimmy Griffin officiating.

Interment followed in the Chalk Hill Cemetery of Little Creek under direction 
of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena

Survivors include two daughters, Penny Kiser of Pineville and Darla Lincecum 
of Vidalia; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers were Robert Privett, David Kiser, Roy Max Brazzell, Dee Jones, W. 
C. Holloway and Tom Sessions.

Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe.
