She was born in Jena on July 25, 1937, the daughter of Tom Green and Ada Mae Adams Bradford. She graduated from Jena High School on May 19, 1955. She had worked as a clerk for the Town Hall in Jena before moving to Texas where she lived in Carthage for 26 years before moving to Prairieville in 1998. She owned and managed Clayton General Store, was notary Public for the State of Texas and was a substitute postmistress at Clayton, Texas, post office. Mrs. Hendrickson was a very active volunteer with the 4-H Club, the Boots and Saddle Club, and was chairperson for the Panola County Blood Pool. On May 27, 1982, she received the Art of Appreciation for exceptional and distinguished volunteer service for the State of Texas and Panola County. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Clayton. Services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 31, at Bethel Baptist Church in Clayton with Rev. Jeff St. John officiating. Interment followed in the Clayton Cemetery under direction of Sallie Lipsey Funeral Home of Carthage, Texas. Survivors include one daughter, Carla Lea Cummings of Nacogdoches, Texas; one brother, James L. Clark of Zwolle; one sister, Edris Ramsey of Carthage; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Michael John Clark, Mike Godwin, Josh Godwin, David Yule, Benjamin Manry and Daniel Manry. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Rushing, Jim Chatman, O. G. Bell, and Ray Creba.
