Headline:  Sister of Searcy Resident Died in Shreveport Tuesday

Mrs. Eugene Herron, 34, a sister of Mrs. W. M. Walpole of the Searcy 
community, died last Tuesday in a Shreveport hospital following a lengthy 
illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Jonesboro Assembly of 
God Church.  Burial was in the Hodge Cemetery under direction of Southern 
Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene Herron of Shreveport; her mother, Mrs. 
Lona Blackstock of Hodge; five brothers, Jack Blackstock of Jonesboro, Harold 
Blackstock of Shreveport, Cecil Blackstock of Haughton, David Blackstock of 
Shreveport, Dennis Blackstock of Jonesboro; two other sisters, Mrs. W. D. 
Herron of Crossett, Ark. and Mrs. Carol Breedlove of Eudora, Ark.; and 
several nieces and nephews.

TYPIST'S NOTE:  Mrs. Eugene Herron was my Great-aunt Lona's daughter, Beulah 
Floyce Blackstock Herron.  She was born 19 Dec 1935 and the daughter of John 
Floyd BLACKSTOCK and Lona PLUNKETT BLACKSTOCK.
