Hudnall Called by Death Thurs., July 30th Sub-headline: Buried Friday Afternoon at 3 o'clock at Haley Cemetery Mrs. Sallie Rosetta Allen Hudnall, aged 55 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emile Breithaupt in Old Jena after an extended illness. Death occurred Thursday, July 30, about 5:30 in the afternoon. Mrs. Hudnall had been in ill health for a long time, and was taken suddenly worse on the evening of July 5. The deceased was a consistent member of the Baptist church and enjoyed the friendship and respect of a host of warm friends and acquaintances. Besides her husband, J. F. Hudnall, Sr., she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bertha Breithaupt; three sons, Willie, Walter, and Milton Hudnall, all of Jena; five sisters, Miss Lizzie Allen, Mrs. J. W. Miles, Mrs. Albert Edwards, Mrs. Martha Hawkins, all of Rhinehart and Mrs. Henrietta Knapp, of Chicago; two brothers, Messrs. J. W. Allen of Jena and William Allen of Rhinehart. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. R. M. Doughty, of Tullos, Friday afternoon and interment was in Haley Cemetery near Jena. Before her death, Mrs. Hudnall had requested that she be buried near a grandchild who rests in the Haley plot.
