Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hixson Bros. Chapel with Rev. S. B. Spinks and Rev. K. G. Brooks officiating. Burial followed in Belah Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Elmer Humphries of Jena; two sons, Allen Humphries of Port Barre and Charles Humphries of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Adams of Jena and Mrs. Shirley Lovett of Baton Rouge; one brother, Chester A. Hutchins of Trout; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Cicero Smith, Herbert Smith, Enes Smith, Tommy Smith, Thomas Chapman, and Vivian Chapman.
