Hall's Brother Dies Aboard Ship En Route to China News was received by his parents in Hattiesburg, Miss., on last Saturday telling of the death of Lieutenant R. S. Hall, Jr., a brother of Captain Stanley A. Hall, commanding officer of the Civilian Conservation Camp at Camp Swan, near Jena. Lieut. Hall's death was considered very mysterious. He is reported to have been lost overboard the Gunboat Isabella enroute to Hong Kong, China. An investigation of the circumstances surrounding the mysterious death is being conducted by the government. Capt. Hall left here Sunday for Hattiesburg to be with his parents during their bereavement, but returned to Jena on Tuesday of this week.
