Date: Thursday, February 12, 1942 CHARLIE HESTER Funeral services for Charlie Hester, 53, machinest and boiler maker for Tremont Lumber Company at Rochelle, who died suddenly of a heart attack February 5, at 2:30 a.m., were held February 6, at the Rochelle Methodist church at 3:30 with Rev. Howell of Rochelle and Rev. Garrett of Chatham officiating. Interment took place at the Winnfield cemetery under the direction of upshaw Funeral Home of Jena. The Rochelle Masons had charge of the ceremonies at the grave. The deceased was a native of Mississippi and had resided in Rochelle since 1931. He was a member of the Rochelle Methodist church and the Rochelle Masonic lodge. Surviving are: Mrs. Charlie Hester, wife: Mrs. W. F. Wade of Chatham, daughter and Alton Hester of Rochelle, son.
