The Rev. Carl Austin conducted the final rites, with interment under the direction of Kinner Stevens Home for Funerals, Jena. According to a verdict returned by Dr. F. A. Thomas, parish coroner, Mrs. Huett died of a heart attack "about 7 a.m. Monday." She was found seated at the breakfast table about 3 p.m. Monday by her mother, Mrs. Artha Pasch of Midway, her stepfather, Mr. Pasch and Mrs. Elizabeth Kemp. According to a report, all the doors were locked from the inside and Mrs. Pasch "broke in" through a screen door. Mrs. Pasch reported had been to her daughter's home earlier that morning to deliver her mail but did not arouse her, presumably thinking she was still sleeping. Mrs. Kemp said she arrived between 1:30 and 2 p.m. and did not arouse her and went nearby to the home of Mrs. Huett's sister-in-law, Mrs. Louie Faulkner, who advised that she get the mother to accompany her into the yard because of some bad dogs. As they entered the year, they were joined by Mr. Pasch who drove up and the three of them went into the house. Failing to find her in the front part of the house, they went on into the back part of the house and found her, reportedly seated at the table where she apparently had started to eat breakfast. The sheriff's department was called and Deputies J. C. Pyle and Grady McLendon arrived a few minutes later, then called the parish coroner who conducted an investigation and returned a verdict. The coroner said death had occurred "approximately eight hours" before the body was found "apparently due to a heart attack." In addition to her mother, Mrs. Huett is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Sheppard and Mrs. Delores Davidson and a son, Daniel Huett, all of St. Louis, Mo.; three brothers, Louie and Ernest Faulkner, both of Midway, and Dan Faulkner of Belah; three grandchildren.
