T. Hutson, aged 62 years, 11 months and 25 days. The earlier years of her life were spent in Winn Parish. She became a member of the Baptist Church at Harmony Grove in the days of her girlhood and her membership has remained there throughout these years. She was married to G. T. Hutson December 15, 1905, and born to this union were eight children, four of who have preceded her to the grave. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband and four children, Mrs. D. T. Smith, Antioch; Mrs. Earl B. Nugent, Olla; G. T. Hutson, Jr., Jena; and Miss Maxine Hutson, Summerville; eight grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. We feel that our loss has been Heaven's gain. She lived a life of faithfulness to God and her family. She spent the years of her life striving to lead her husband and children to God, teaching us to fear God and live for Him. May God grant that this effort will not have been in vain. We trust that the family circle will not be broken Heaven, when the last of our lives has been finished in this world of sorrow and heartaches. May her teachings be an inspiration that will guide each of her family into the path of righteousness, that every soul in this life will long have followed when they face the judgment. Although life seems empty without Mother, we know that God knew best. The remains were laid to rest in Harmony Grove Cemetery, Dodson, La., April 26, to await the resurrection day. A loving daughter, Mrs. Earl B. Nugent "Card of Thanks" (published directly below the above Tribute) We wish to thank our many friends of this and surrounding communities for their kindness, sympathy and assistance rendered during the illness and death of our precious wife and mother. We especially thank our physician, Dr. J. M. Kittrell, for his faithful and splendid service, and also thank the Riser and Upshaw Funeral Home for their perfectly satisfactory burial. We also wish to thank you for the floral offerings. G. T. Hutson and Family
