Headline:   Final Rites for Joe B. Jeffery Held on Tuesday

Final rites for Joe Bergess Jeffery, 54, of Olla, were held at 10 a.m. 
Tuesday at the Olla United Methodist Church in Olla with Revs. William 
Proctor and Gilbert Wade officiating.

Mr. Jeffery died in the Veterans Hospital in Alexandria following a short 
illness.  He was operator of a gas station.

Burial was in the Alexandria Memorial Gardens of Alexandria under direction 
of Hixson Brothers of Jena.

Graveside services wee conducted by the Olla Masonic Lodge No. 303, F. & A. M.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John Dee Blue, Jr., of Olla.

Pallbearers were J. O. Hopkins, R. B. Miller, H. H. Duke, B. W. Thompson, 
Jr., Edwin Smith, T. E. Watts, Joe B. Jurdon, Master and N. C. Thompson, 
Chaplain.
