Jones Killed in Auto Collision Near Kelly, La. M. C. Jones, aged between 50 and 60 years from DeQuincy, La., was killed and b. G. Donohue had his right arm broken and hand injured in an auto wreck that occurred at 7 o'clock Tuesday evening on the Lone Star Highway just north of Kelly, La., sixty-five miles north of Alexandria. W. J. McKenzie, also, of DeQuincy was in the car, but escaped injury. The car collided with the northbound Interurban bus, which was making the run from Alexandria. Wade Bryan, driver of the Interurban bus, stated that he saw the car coming south and that the driver appeared to be keeping to the center of the road, but finally, when too late, turned to the right and seeing that he was going off the road, turned back towards the bus and struck it in the side. This threw the small car off an embankment about eight feet high, with the result described above. The injured man was taken to Columbia, and he died soon after reaching there.
