The Rev. Olin Walters conducted the final rites, with interment following in the Big Creek Cemetery at Pollock at 2 p.m., under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lorraine Johnson of West Monroe and five sisters, Mrs. Fred Mercer and Mrs. Allie Hammons, both of Winnfield; Mrs. A. M. White and Mrs. W. B. Anders, both of Jena, and Mrs. B. Stanton of Siloam Springs, Ark. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Johnson was employed at the Olin Mathieson Paper Mill in West Monroe. A native of Jackson Parish, he formerly resided in Jena and had lived in West Monroe since 1945. Pallbearers for the final rites were H. H. Bagwell, Hugh Ward, George A. Neal, J. Neal, Nolan Naquin and J. T. Simons.
