The Revs. Hoye Harvey, Jesse Norris and G. A. Pritchard conducted the final rites, assisted by the Revs. Paul W. Long, W. S. Waggnar, M. H. Goodwin and George T. Lampkin. Burial was in Whitestone Cemetery near Trout, under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Graveside rites were conducted by the Revs. Harvey and Pritchard. Serving as pallbearers were G. F. Hannah, John Beavers, Burley Corley, Dewey Flowers, L. T. Cotten and Jerry Jackson. Mr. Jackson, a retired farmer, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice Jackson of Route 1, Trout; a daughter, Mary Jackson of Route 1, Trout; five sons, Phillip and Riley, both of Route 1, Trout; Sam of Alexandria, Jerry of Bayou LaBatre, Ala., and Jack of the U. S. Army, stationed in Maine, and 12 grandchildren.
