Sub-Headline:  Shirley Ann Joy

Shirley Ann Joy, 56, of Jena, died at 11:20 p.m., Tuesday, September 19, 
2000, in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of 
Jena.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, September 21, at the First United 
Pentecostal Church in Jena with the Revs. Crawford Coon and DeVon Mills 
officiating.

Interment followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Rhinehart under direction of 
Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Sharp of Jena; one son, Jay Joy of 
Jena; one sister, Thelma Faye Hartley of Shreveport; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mike Crooks, Lloyd Breithaupt, Shelby Pritchard, Black 
Toler, Jimmy Hughes, and Gary Malcolm.
