Sub-Headline: Ethell Jones

Ethell Jones, 84, of Trout, died at 8:45 a.m., Monday, September 6, 1999, at 
her residence.

She was a homemaker and member of the Good Pine Baptist Church.  She was born 
in Good Pine on June 14, 1915, to the union of Robert and Martha Stone 
McClendon.

Services will be held at 10 a.m., today (Wednesday) Sept. 8, at the chapel of 
Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home in Jena with the Rev. Pete Turner 
officiating.

Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery of Jena under direction of Kinner 
and Stevens, Inc., of Jena.

Survivors include her husband, Albert Jones, of Trout; one daughter, Rose 
Franklin of Alexandria; two sons, R. B. Jones of Olla and Paul Neal Jones of 
Fordyce, Ark.; one sister, Claudia Farley of Shreveport; one brother, Jessie 
Leon McLendon of Trout; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 5 
great-great-grandchildren.
