R. Kennon A Pineville man, Jessie Ray Kennon, 30, was killed near Ball in an auto accident Monday night. Mr. Kennon's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Kennon, both reside in Jena, as does a sister, Mrs. Rose Mary Allen. He was killed at 10 pm Monday. He was employed as an automobile mechanic. Funeral services were held at 11 am Wednesday at Midway Pentecostal Church with the Revs Ross Allen, Everett Mayo, and C. D. Thornton, officiating. Burial was in Belah Cemetery under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home, Jena. Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Debra Annette; one son, Jeffery Ray; four sisters, Mrs. Hattie Windham of Pineville, Mrs. Betty Cotton of Alexandria, Mrs. Rose Mary Allen of Jena, and Miss Joy Ann Kennon of Columbia, S. C.; and his parents.
