She was the wife of the late Alfred D. Becton of Westlake, retired pastor of the First Baptist Church of Westlake. Later, she was married to the late Lawrence M. King of Olla, retired pastor of the First Baptist Church of Olla. Services were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28, at First Baptist church of Westlake with Rev. Woody Rimes officiating. Interment followed in the Westlake Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Westlake. Survivors include on son, John D. Becton of Moss Bluff; one step-daugher, Gene Gosslin of Olla; one stepson, Dr. Lawrence M. King, Jr., of San Antonio, Texas; three sisters, Etta Chevallier of Many, Dottie Price of Trout, and Georgie Whatley of Jena; and one brother, Earl Windham of Jena; three grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
