The Revs. Richard Nugent, D. R. Dearmon and T. T. Edwards conducted the final rites, with interment following in the Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Mr. Kees is survived by his wife, Mrs. Perry Kees of Olla; one daughter, Mrs. Mollie Taylor of Olla; four sons, D. J. Kees of Olla, Minos P. Kees of Urania, Floyd Kees of Eureka, Calif., and Sammie Kees of Olla; five brothers, Harper Kees of Urania, Frank Kees of Olla, Eliga Kees of Pineville, Nathaniel Kees of Michigan and Elzie Kees of California; four sisters, Mrs. Bernice Allbritton of Jena, Mrs. Maggie Tarver of Pollock, Mrs. Blanche Mathias of San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Naomi Girlinghouse of Jena; and 15 grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers for the final rites were E. D. Kees, Otha Allbritton, the Rev. George Allbritton, J. E. Allbritton, J. B. Allbritton, and E. M. Allbritton.
