P. Kees, 85, at Pine Hill Sept. 7 Funeral services for Milton Perry Kees, 85, lifelong resident of LaSalle Parish who died at the home of Rev. J. J. Allbritton in Midway, September 6, following several months illness. The deceased is survived by seven sons: S. H. Kees and M. P. Kees, Jr., of Urania, N. A. and W. E. Kees of Clarks, F. M. Kees of Olla, E. A. Kees of Manifest and E. L. Kees of Coushatta and four daughters, Mrs. Bernice Allbritton, Mrs. Maggie Tarver of Pineville, Mrs. Blanche Matthias of San Francisco, and Mrs. Neoma Girlinghouse of Jena, 46 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. Deceased was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church near Jena, September 7, at 3 p.m., with Rev. R. M. Doughty officiating and interment was made at the Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home of Jena.
