He was born April 14, 1908, in Olney, Texas. He married Bobby Hamilton, August 3, 1941, in Lordsburg, New Mexico, and was retired from the Tenneco Oil Company. He moved to Deming in 1978 from Louisiana and was a member of the Lewis Flats Baptist Church and was active in the Senior Citizen Circles. Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 18, at 2 p.m. at Baca's Wheeler Funeral Chapels in Deming. Rev. Alvin Swearengen officiated. Interment followed at Mountain View Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Bobby Killian of Deming; four daughters, Ezell Carroll, San Diego, California; Billy Dee Cummins, Denver, Colorado; Judy Lasater, Los Lunas and Roxana Killian, Fresno, California; two sisters, Ethel Mae Woosley, Odessa, Texas and Thelma Gillaspy, Sacramento, California; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were David Carroll, Mike Carroll, Steven Cummins, Sean Lasater, Tom Cummins, and Jack Hamilton. Honorary pallbearers were Raymond Woosley, Howard Jones, Matt Brewer, and Boyd Lasater.
