Viva Guyon King, 85, of Woodlands, Texas, died at 7:45 a.m., Friday, 
September 1, 2000, in Harris County, Texas.

She was a retired government clerk.

Services were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 5, at Rosefield Baptist 
Church with Rev. Harold Tucker officiating.

Interment followed in the Rosefield Cemetery under direction of Hixson 
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include one daughter, Judith Ann Springer of Houston, Tx.; one 
sister, Pearl Wolf of Lubbock, Tx.; two grandchildren, and one 
great-grandchild.
