Kelley A 20-year-old Jena woman died at 3:30 p.m., Saturday afternoon, September 2, 2000, at Rapides Regional Medical Center from injuries she sustained in a one-vehicle accident on Thursday night. Brenda Gail Kelley, 20, of Jena, was driving a 1996 Chevrolet when it apparently left Williams Lake Road, east of Pineville, and crashed about 8:15 p.m., Thursday, August 31. Kelley sustained severe injuries in the accident and was airlifted from the scene and flown to Rapides Regional Medical Center where she died two days later. Brenda had been employed at Ginny's Restaurant in Jena, but recently had taken a new job at Wal-Mart. She was born July 21, 1980, at Henderson, Texas. Services Services for Brenda Gail Kelley were held at 10 a.m., Monday, September 4, at Maranatha Assembly of God Church where she was a member with the Revs. Eddie Thompson and Rodney Reeves officiating. Interment followed in the Jena Cemetery near Jena under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include her parents, Charles and Marcelle Kelley of Trout and Patsy Ann Taylor of Tahlequah, Okla; two half sisters, Sherri Lyons of Tahlequah, Ok., and Norma Joe Kelley of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, Wesley Kelley of Trout; one half-brother, Kevin Taylor of Tahlequah, Ok.; two stepbrothers, Jim Zeagler of Summerville and Jack Zeagler of Trout; one stepsister, Jenny Kight of Dry Prong; maternal grandparents, John and Ludemia Taylor of Tahlequah, Ok.; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Katherine Kelley and John and Dorothy Evans, all of Rogers; and two nephews, Kyle Kight and Taylor Lynn Kight. Pallbearers were Jacob Hulsey, Jamie Zeagler, Felix Ortiz, Chad Smith, Josh Chapman, Joey Harville, Chad Otwell, and Adam Otwell. Honorary pallbearers were Mark Shirley, Michael Zeagler, Shane Guinn, Brandon Jones, Josh McMillin, Clint Jones, Robbie Summer, Clay Edwards, Russell Dorton, Matt Justus, Dallas Edwards, Nathan Sharbono, Doug Windham, Jason Parker, Carl Doughty, Brian Fitzgerald, Kyle Lucas, Dexter Mitchell, Cole Bruce and Joel Hodges.
