Lambert, aged 81 years, 11 months, and 25 days, interment following in the Nolley Memorial Cemetery. Rev L. D. Posey officiated at the church and at the grave. Mr Lambert formerly resided in this section and has many friends and relatives to mourn his death. He had been a resident of Sulphur, Louisiana, for the past ten years, his death occuring at 4:30 am, January 8th from heart trouble. The body was brought overland, arriving in Jena about two-thirty Tuesday afternoon. Surviiving the deceased are the following sons and daughters: Mrs A. B. Taylor, DeQuincy; Mrs I. J. Brooks, Monroe; Mrs T. J. West, Houston, Texas; Mrs Grover S. Miller, Sulphur, and E. H. Lambert, Oakdale.
