Lindsay, 36, her three children, June Lindsay, 15, Billie Ruth Lindsay, 13, and Victor Lindsay, 14. Their father and husband awoke in the early morning hours with a scream just in time to realize that he was being overcome and survived after treatment in a nearby residence. Mr Lindsay is choir director and Sunday school teacher in a Baton Rouge church and is a senior chemistry student at Louisiana State University. He formerly resided at Selma and was a candidate for Grant Parish representative at one time. Dr Thomas B. Bird, parish coroner, assigned the deaths to carbon monoxide poisoning. Fire Chief Robert A. Hogan laid the accident to a defective burner on a stove in their home. Funeral services were held at Baton Rouge Monday.
