Headline:  Area Deaths

Jacqueline "Jackie" Louise Leach, 76, of Olla, died Sunday, January 23, 2000, 
at Hardtner Medical Center in Urania following an extended illness.

She was a retired librarian.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the chapel of Riser 
Funeral Home in Olla with Rev. Lamar Carpenter officiating.

Interment followed in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery at Georgetown under 
direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla.

Survivors include one son, Richard Leach of Olla; one daughter, Bonita 
Burgess of Willetts, Ca.; three brothers, James Hemphill of Shreveport, Ruben 
Hemphill of Tacoma, Wa., and Gary Dale Hemphill of Toledo Bend; three 
sisters, Patsy Buxton of Jena, Gloria Dawn Norred of Ruston and Jeannette 
Hammons of Quitman; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
