He was born on August 5, 1955, to the union of his parents, Elmer and Ollie Mae Lisenby. He was a welder. Services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2000, at the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla. Interment followed in the Olla Cemetery of Olla under direction of Riser Funeral Home, Olla. Survivors include his partner in life, Sharon Barrios of Houma; his parents, Elmer "Bubba" and Ollie Mae Lisenby of Olla; one son, James "Derek" Lisenby of Haughton; one daughter, Melissa Rainbolt of Bossier City; one stepson, Russell Barrios, Jr., of Houma; one stepdaughter, Rushelle Fitzgerald of Houma; two brothers, Kenny Lisenby and Gary Lisenby, both of Olla; one sister, Jennifer Higginbotham of Olla; and five grandchildren.
