Funeral Services Held May 16 For Mrs. Nellie Lawson at Olla

Services for Mrs. Nellie Lawson, age 71, were held at 2:30 o'clock, Wednesday,
May 16, 1945, at the Olla Baptist Church.

Mrs. Lawson died with a heart attack about 9:30 o'clock, May 14 at her home in
Olla, La. She had resided in Olla all her life and was a member of the Baptist
Church.

Interment was in the Olla Cemetery.

Surviving the deceased are three daughters: Mrs. Lorene Cruse, Mrs. Mattie
Blake and Mrs. Goldie Russell, all of Olla: one son, Herman, in the U.S. Army;
two sisters, Mrs. Millie Cruse, Kelly, La., and Mrs. Ellen Smith, Sicily
island and one brother, George Etheridge, Olla.

Kinner & Stevens Home for Funerals were in charge of arrangements.
