Headline:  J. A. Lindsay Dies Selma on Thursday
 
Friends throughout LaSalle Parish will regret to learn of the untimely death 
of J. A. Lindsay, aged 52, master mechanic of the Grant Timber and 
Manufacturing Co., at Selma on Thursday, January 24th.

Mr. Lindsay is survived by a son, Jas. E. Lindsay, who is a candidate for 
representative in Grant and one daughter, Mrs. Louise Smith, of Alexandria.
