Headline:  Edwin C. Morris Succumbs Tuesday at Haynesville

Edwin Carlyle Morris, 56, a Jena oilfield contractor, died in Haynesville 
last Tuesday.  He was a veteran of World War II, a Mason, and a member of the 
First Baptist Church in Jena.

Funeral services were conducted from the Chapel of the First Baptist Church 
in Jena on Wednesday at 3 p.m., with Rev. John Ed Snell, pastor, in charge.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruth Procter Morris of Jena; a son, Frank 
Morris of Jena; a brother, Richard A. Morris of Monroe; a sister, Mrs. 
Annalyn Floyd of Haynesville.
