Headline:  Matthew Meador Died Monday in Nursing Home

Matthew L. Meador, 84, of Olla, died Monday morning at the Columbia Heights 
Nursing Home in Columbia after a long illness.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Olla 
with the Rev. Dale Windham officiating.  Burial was in the Olla Cemetery 
under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Kate Wasson Meador of Olla; two brothers, 
John Meador of Picayune, Miss., and Bryan Meador of Lena, Miss.; one sister, 
Mrs. Eva Oliphant of Noxapater, Miss.
