Moreau Joseph W. Moreau, 78, of Aimwell, died at 1:10 p.m., Friday, December 10, 1999, in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Alexandria. He was a retired truck driver in the logging industry and a veteran of World War II. Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 12, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Larry Doughty officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery of Aimwell under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc., of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Myra Ruth Crawford Moreau of Aimwell; two daughters, Judia Marie Moreau of Alexandria and Linda Kaye Grant of Grayson; one son, William Lynn Moreau of Olla; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were J. F. Westbrooks, Raymond Westbrooks, Leroy Westbrooks, Kenny Young, Merideth Poole, and George Norman.
