Morace, 64, Deville farmer, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16 in an Alexandria hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mertes M. Morace; a son, W. Russell Morace of Deville; four daughters, Mrs. John Johnson, Mrs. Maurice Deville and Mrs. James Morace of Deville, and Mrs. Vincent Deville of Pineville; three brothers, Joseph Morace of Baton Rouge, William Morace of Simmesport and Tate Morace of Cocodrie; a sister, Mrs. Edgar Thompson of Jena; 19 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 at St. John's Catholic Church at Deville. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of John Kramer and Son Funeral Home.
