He was a retired farmer. Services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 6, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Rev. Albert Vickers officiating. Interment followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery of Bentley under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc., of Jena. Survivors include two sons, Troy Mobley of Jena and Lavon Mobley of Olympia, Wash.; one sister, Bertie Lee Johnson of Ball; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Alva Jackson, H. L. Oswalt, Pete Turner, Burl Clark, Bill Black and Bill Boyd.
