Martin Dies in Hospital at Monroe Sat. Sub-Headline: Beloved Woman is Laid to Rest in Harris Cemetery Olla, La., Sept. 12 - (Special) - Mrs. J. E. Martin, who lived 10 miles east of Olla, died in Monroe Hospital, September 5 at 10 a.m. She was sick only a short time. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Those who survive are her husband, Mr. J. E. Martin and one daughter, Winnie May, aged 2, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Tannehill and four sisters. Interment was made Sunday afternoon, September 6 in the Harris Cemetery, the services being conducted by Rev. R. L. Bridges, Pastor of the Baptist Church. The Signal extends condolence to the bereaved in this sad hour.
