Headline:  Funeral Rites for Mrs. N. D. Morris Held at Pineville

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret S. Morris, 89, grandmother of Mrs. Elmo 
Tullos of Jena, were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the First Baptist 
Church of Pineville, with the Rev. R. Houston Smith and the Rev. Moses Mercer 
officiating.  Interment was in the Greenwood Memorial park, under the 
direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home.

Mrs. Morris passed away at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19.  She was the widow of 
the late N. D. Morris, of 208 Myrtle Street, Pineville.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. J. D. Chandler, Pineville; four sons, S. 
N. Morris of Georgetown, D. P. Morris of Great Bend, Kan., G. S. Morris of 
Colfax, and M. L. Morris of Dry Prong; 16 grandchildren and ten 
great-grandchildren.
