A retired teacher from the Olla-Standard High School, she was the wife of the late Marshall W. Minard. Before moving to Gallatin, she had been a longtime active member, both of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Alexandria and the First Baptist Church of Olla. She was a member of the Olla Chapter of the Easter Star and in recent years had been actively involved in the Olla-Standard High School Alumni Association. Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, at the First Baptist Church in Olla with the Revs. Lee Weems and Milton Wilson, officiating. Interment will follow in the Olla Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla. Survivors include a son, Harry Minard of Shreveport; two daughters Ann Dean Ross of Foxboro, Mass., and Elizabeth Fuqua of Gallatin, TN.; a sister, Pearl Cooper of Linville; and six grandchildren.
