Funeral services were held at the Good Pine Baptist Church with the Rev. A. D. Becton officiating. Interment took place in the Greenwood Cemetery in Pineville. At the time of his death, Mr. Marshall owned and operated the Good Pine Grocery. He was reared in Sterling, Ill., moved to Monroe, later to Selma, and in 1936 made his residence in Good Pine. He is survived by his widow; one son, Herbert; and one brother, Kemp Marshall, of California. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bill McCrary, Wayne Jackson, Eric Brown, Herbert Tannehill, Jack Armstrong, and Clup Smith.
