(Pill) Miller Jessie S. (Pill) Miller, of Springfield, Il., and formerly of Midway, died Saturday, September 25, 1999, after a long illness. He was a veteran of World War II, a retired engineer, attended LSU, was an avid hunter and he and his wife were world travelers. Memorial services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 28 in Springfield, Il. Survivors include his wife, Mary S. Miller; a daughter, Therese Meskinson of Robinson, Ind.; a son, Jay Miller of Long Beach, Calif.; four sisters, Gertrude M. Groves, Sweet M. Alexander and Alice M. Pipes of West Monroe and Anita (Bo) Bourgeois of Texas City, Tx.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
