Billy Dwain Manuel

Billy Dwain Manuel, 39, of Bastrop, Texas, died at 3 a.m., Thursday, May 24,
2001, at his residence.

He was a lab technician and a United States Veteran.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Sunday, May 27, at Jena Cemetery with
Rev. Everett Mayo officiating.

Interment was under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include one son, Robert Vest Manuel, III, of Angleton, Texas; his
mother and father, Edmond "Jack" Lewis and Carolyn Joan Manuel of Florence,
Ala.; one brother, Eddie Layne Manuel of Rogersville, Ala.; and his
grandfather, rev. R. V. Manuel.
