Morgan, Aged Citizen of Nebo, La. Buried on Monday Friends of Columbus Lee Morgan, prominent Nebo farmer, will regret to learn of his passing on Sunday, May 1, 1938, after a short illness. He was born at Brookhaven, Miss., in 1867, and was therefore 72 years of age. Mr. Morgan came to this section with his parents at the age of about one year and had resided in this section of the state practically his entire life. He was a consistent member of the Baptist Church and kindly disposed. He was married to Miss Margaret Yule in 1901, who preceded him in death several years ago. The following children survive: James Morgan, Nebo; Mrs. Neoma Andrews, Jena; Mrs. A. V. Callais, Natchez, Miss.; Misses Eula and Ruby Morgan, Natchez, Miss.; Beulah Morgan, Nebo. Other survivors are the following half-brothers and sisters: Ben Bradford, Jena; James Bradford, Walters; Mrs. W. O. Smith, Jena, and Mrs. I. W. Hailey, Nebo. Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 2 by Rev. Morland Doughty, of Tullos with interment in Nebo Cemetery under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home.
