Billie Mildred Murphy

Billie Mildred Murphy, 84, of Jena, died at 2:20 p.m., Wednesday, October 31,
2001, at the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena.

A Baptist, she was born June 7, 1917, at Crystal Springs, Arkansas, to the
union of Charles Bearden and Sarah Moon Murphy.

Services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 2, at the chapel pf Kinner and
Stevens Funeral Home with Rev. S. B. Spinks officiating.

Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery of Jena under direction of Kinner
and Stevens, Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include three sisters, Irena Fulbright and Viva Amyx, both of Jena
and geneva Lambert of Sikeston, Mo.; and one brother, Harold Murphy of Bossier
City.

Pallbearers were Sidney Amyx, Brad Normand, Bob Lambert, Wayne McGuffee, Dale
Mithcell, and Sid Amyx.
