Miller, age five years, ? months, and 18 days, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Miller, near Jena, was found dead in bed on Sunday morning by his parents. The cause of death was attributed to rickets, according to a report from the coroner, Dr. J. A. Gaharan. The child had been in ill health for many months; however, it was not thought his condition was of a serious nature. His untimely death was a shock to his many relatives and friends throughout LaSalle Parish. He is survived by his parents and two brothers. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock by Rev. L. D. Posey. Interment was made under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home.
