Moore, 65, of Aimwell, died at 1:35 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2001, at White Sulphur Springs. He was a retired bridge construction employee, a member of Aimwell Pentecostal Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II. He was born Dec. 29, 1935, in Noble County, Okla., to the union of Irene Snodgrass Dunham and Forrest D. Moore. Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Aimwell Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Shorty Mayo, Kirk Mayo and Pete Turner officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery of Aimwell under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Moore of Aimwell; two daughters, Janell Moore of Monroe and Melinda Butts of Jonesville; three step-daughters, Phyliss Nugent, Sherry Walker, and Amy Poole, all of Aimwell; two step-sons, Larkin Jackson of Jena and Jonathan Jackson of Aimwell; his father, Forrest D. Moore of Stillwater, Ok.; two sisters, Lillian Barrett of Williamsburg, Va., and Sara Moore of Oklahoma City, Ok.; three brothers, Carl Moore of junction City, Colo., Horace Moore of oklahoma City and Charles Moore of Stillwater, Ok.; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Cecil Ray Carroll, Moses Poole, Tommy Joe McClure, Kenneth Cruse, Chuck Posey, and Jackie Dale Taunton. Honorary pallbearers were J. K. Randall, Wallace Morace, Cecil E. Carroll, E. H. Walker, Paul McClure, Cecil Chaudoin, Travis Hudson, and J. C. Parker.
